Kinetic Rush submission: Neo-Noir city

My submission for the "Kinetic Rush" Competition by Pwinisher. My focus this time round was on simulations, specifically the clothes, which I learnt to simulate in marvelous designer, and the cars, which I simulated in blender with the RBC addon. The style was partly a choice I wanted to explore for this project, and partly bred out of necessity, as a NPR shader like this one required less texturing work than a more realistically styled scene would, and allowed me to spend more time learning and working on new features.
If I had to name one thing that I improved on since the last competition (Eternal Ascent), it would definitely be the retargetting process, transferring animation data from the default character to my own. This time round I had a much stronger understanding of how to build a rig that would not only allow for a smooth transfer of data, but also one that I could add my own custom animation to after retargetting. By adding IK/FK switches to my character, I learnt to retarget to the FK bones, then create the custom animation on the FK layer.
